JetX Review

Released in 2018, JetX is SmartSoft Gaming’s multiplayer crash game built around a jet climbing from its runway towards outer space. The multiplier rises throughout the flight, and every active player must collect before the aircraft explodes.

Two betting panels allow separate wagers and collection targets during the same journey. Players can collect manually, set Auto Cash Out values or use Auto Bet to repeat their chosen settings across multiple rounds.

SmartSoft currently publishes an RTP range of 96.2% to 98.9%. The multiplier can reach 25,000x, although both the active RTP and monetary betting limits can vary between casino versions.

How to play JetX

JetX operates through shared multiplayer rounds. A short betting period opens before takeoff, giving players time to place one or two wagers and configure any automatic instructions.

  1. Choose the stake: Set the amount on the first betting panel. Activate the second panel if you want to place another wager on the same flight.

  2. Set an automatic target: Auto Cash Out can collect a wager when the jet reaches a predefined multiplier. Each panel can use a different target.

  3. Place the bet: Confirm the wager before the betting countdown expires. New bets cannot join after the aircraft has taken off.

  4. Follow the flight: The multiplier begins near 1.00x and rises as the jet gains altitude. The round can finish immediately or continue towards much larger values.

  5. Collect the return: Press Cash Out while the jet remains in flight. The settled amount is the stake multiplied by the value shown when the instruction is processed.

  6. Avoid the explosion: Any wager that remains active when the jet explodes is lost. Collecting one betting panel does not settle the other.

Auto Bet can repeat a selected stake across a chosen number of flights. It can be combined with Auto Cash Out so that the wager is placed and collected according to values entered before the round.

Both betting panels follow the same aircraft and explosion point. Their independence applies to stake sizes and collection instructions, rather than creating two separate flight results.

The live display shows current participants, their wagers and successful collection points. Parachuting characters represent players who have already collected, but their decisions have no effect on the remaining aircraft or its eventual stopping point.

Recent multipliers and historical statistics can be opened from the interface. These records show what happened in completed rounds without indicating when the next explosion will occur.

JetX - Design

JetX remains one of the most polished presentations in the crash category. The flight itself looks good, but SmartSoft has also paid close attention to the dashboard surrounding it. Betting panels, live results, player numbers and historical multipliers all feel like parts of one coherent interface.

The design is clean without being sparse. Important values remain easy to locate, even though the screen is constantly updating with bets, collections and player activity.

There is plenty to watch after takeoff. The jet leaves the runway, climbs over the landscape and gradually reaches more extreme altitudes. Longer rounds eventually carry the aircraft into space, providing a genuine sense that the journey is progressing rather than repeating one short animation indefinitely.

Our favourite visual detail is how JetX represents other players collecting. Characters initially leap from the aircraft using parachutes. Once the jet reaches space, those parachutes are replaced by spacesuits.

It is a small touch, but it gives the multiplayer information a purpose within the scene. A list of collected bets could have communicated the same data, yet watching people abandon the jet makes the flight feel populated and active.

The explosion is equally satisfying. Flames engulf the aircraft and the word “BOOM” appears prominently on the screen, bringing the round to an unmistakable finish.

The live player count helps communicate the scale of the shared game. Incoming bets arrive quickly, successful exits remain visible and the recent-results display is always within reach. These elements give JetX the atmosphere of an active multiplayer room even when nobody is using the chat.

Sound contributes to the pace without fighting the interface. Engine effects accompany takeoff and ascent, while the explosion provides a sharp conclusion.

The two betting panels are well separated and their potential returns are easy to identify. This matters when different stakes or collection targets are being used, as each decision needs to remain attached to the correct wager.

Mobile play necessarily compresses some of the surrounding information. The core flight, multiplier and cash-out controls retain priority, while secondary statistics can be accessed through menus. The layout remains practical despite losing some of the spacious dashboard feel found on desktop.

JetX looks remarkably assured for a game first released in 2018. Later crash titles have produced more elaborate worlds and bonus systems, but relatively few combine their gameplay, community activity and surrounding interface this neatly.

JetX - Win Potential

SmartSoft publishes an RTP range of 96.2% to 98.9% for JetX. This corresponds to a theoretical house edge ranging from 3.8% at the lower setting to 1.1% at the upper setting.

That is a substantial variation between versions of the same game. Players should open the information or help panel to identify the RTP being used by their casino rather than assuming every JetX deployment offers the highest return.

The maximum multiplier is 25,000x. Reaching that value requires an exceptionally long flight, and most rounds will finish far below the headline ceiling.

JetX can explode at the beginning of a round, including at 1.00x. An Auto Cash Out instruction cannot settle a wager if the aircraft explodes before reaching the selected target.

The two betting panels allow different exit points, but placing a second wager also increases the total amount exposed to the same explosion. Dividing the stakes between an earlier and later target changes how the round is approached without removing the house edge.

Other players’ wagers and exits have no effect on the result. A large number of early collections does not cause the aircraft to explode, and remaining aboard after most players have jumped does not improve the chance of a longer flight.

Is JetX Provably Fair?

JetX uses an RNG to generate the flight multiplier and supports round verification through cryptographic information attached to its history system.

A hash is created before the relevant result is revealed. Once the round has finished, the corresponding result data can be compared with that earlier commitment. Matching values show that the committed result was not quietly replaced after bets had been placed.

Players should select a completed round through the history or statistics panel and follow the verification instructions supplied inside that version.

SmartSoft also supplies JetX within a regulated RNG framework and holds a B2B supplier licence from the Malta Gaming Authority. Cryptographic round checking and regulatory testing provide different forms of oversight, with the former available to the player after a flight.

What we like

  • Excellent aircraft animation, player exits and space flight sequence
  • Live player numbers, collections and results are presented in a polished dashboard
  • The upper RTP of 98.9% is great if you can find it

What we don't like

  • The RTP ranges are quite wide, with the lowest being 96.2%

The bottom line

4.8/5

JetX has aged impressively well, with a polished presentation that gives its familiar crash gameplay plenty of character. Watching other players abandon the aircraft fills the sky with parachutes during early stages and spacesuits once the jet reaches space, adding humour and visual feedback to every flight. Player counts, live bets, successful exits and recent results are also organised clearly without overwhelming the screen.

The variable RTP is its main weakness. A version running at 98.9% is exceptionally competitive, while 96.2% is a considerably less attractive proposition, making it essential to check the active configuration. Newer games may be more ambitious, but JetX remains one of SmartSoft’s strongest releases thanks to its excellent pace, spectacle and clarity.
