ScoreX Review

Released on 26th November 2024, ScoreX is an ultra-lightweight multiplayer crash game from OnlyPlay. A glowing football travels through a cosmic setting while the multiplier rises towards a possible maximum of 10,000x.

Two betting panels allow different stakes and collection targets during the same round. Players can collect manually, configure automatic instructions and send emoji reactions that appear for the wider multiplayer audience.

ScoreX has a published RTP of 97%.

How to Play ScoreX

ScoreX follows a conventional shared crash-game structure despite its football presentation.

  1. Choose the stake: Set an amount on the first betting panel. Open the second panel if another wager is required.

  2. Enter an automatic target: Auto Cashout can settle a wager when the ball reaches a selected multiplier.

  3. Place the bet: Confirm before the energy bar or betting countdown expires.

  4. Follow the football: The multiplier rises as the ball travels through the cosmic background.

  5. Collect the return: Press Cash Out before the ball explodes to receive the stake multiplied by the accepted value.

  6. React to the round: Select an emoji to display a response that can be seen by the other participants.

Automatic and manual collection can be assigned separately to the two panels. A bet placed after the current flight begins is normally queued for the following round.

The live display shows participating players and successful exits. Emoji reactions provide lightweight communication without opening a conventional text chat.

ScoreX - Design

ScoreX feels like someone took a football and dropped it into a design originally intended for a rocket, shuttle or comet.

The name suggests sport. The main object is unmistakably a football. Everything behind it belongs to outer space, and the game makes almost no attempt to connect those ideas.

We kept returning to the same question during our time with ScoreX: why is the football in space? There is no stadium launch, exaggerated super-kick or story explaining how it reached the cosmos.

The ball simply travels through stars as if it were another spacecraft. Replacing it with a small rocket would allow the rest of the presentation to continue almost unchanged.

That makes the theme feel extremely lazy. Football provides the title and central object, while the surrounding template appears to have been selected independently.

We are aware that animations are deliberately minimal to preserve the game’s tiny file size. ScoreX loads quickly and keeps the multiplier clear, but technical efficiency cannot replace a coherent visual idea.

Emoji reactions are the only element that gave us something different to do. Sending a face into the shared display creates a small piece of multiplayer interaction, although the novelty lasts for only a few rounds.

ScoreX works as a lightweight interface. As a football-themed game, it barely develops the theme beyond changing the object travelling through an existing cosmic scene.

ScoreX - Win Potential

ScoreX has an RTP of 97%, corresponding to a theoretical house edge of 3%. That is a competitive percentage for a multiplayer crash game.

The maximum multiplier is 10,000x. Reaching the ceiling requires the football to survive for an exceptionally long time, so it should not be treated as a routine collection target.

Common betting limits run from 1 to 50 per panel. Casino configurations and currency conversions may produce different monetary values.

The second betting panel can use another stake and target. This provides flexibility when approaching the same flight without altering its generated result.

Auto Cashout follows the selected instruction when the football reaches it. A round that ends below the target loses before the automatic settlement can occur.

ScoreX offers sound headline mathematics through its 97% RTP and 10,000x limit. There are no bonus features or alternative payment routes beyond the rising coefficient.

Is ScoreX Provably Fair?

ScoreX uses OnlyPlay’s documented provably fair technology.

The system combines server-generated data with player-generated seeds. A cryptographic commitment is produced before the outcome is revealed, preventing the completed result from being quietly substituted after bets have been accepted.

Once the round has finished, the disclosed information can be entered into the available verifier and compared with the earlier hash.

This verifies the completed stopping point. It does not decode the next flight or enable software to predict when the football will explode.

What we like

  • The lightweight build loads quickly and supports portrait or landscape play
  • Its 97% RTP is competitive for a multiplayer crash game

What we don't like

  • The football and outer-space setting have no convincing thematic connection
  • Central animation offers almost no development beyond the ball travelling upwards
  • Emoji reactions are too slight to compensate for its downsides

The bottom line

2.4/5

ScoreX is lightweight, responsive and easy to play, with clearly organised betting panels and a competitive 97% RTP. Its modest technical demands also make it practical for lower-powered mobile devices and weaker connections, although these qualities feel more like foundations than a complete game.

A football travelling through space could have supported an entertainingly absurd concept, but OnlyPlay does nothing with the idea. There are no players, goals, crowds or dramatic shots, leaving the ball to behave like a rocket with a different texture. ScoreX plays competently, but its incoherent and underdeveloped presentation makes it one of the studio’s least convincing themes.
