Released in September 2023, Big Bass Crash takes Pragmatic Play’s familiar fisherman away from the reels and places him at the centre of a multiplayer crash game. His boat travels across the water as the net fills with fish and a multiplier rises from 1.00x. Your job is to collect before the net breaks, taking the current multiplier with you before the catch disappears.

The gameplay closely follows the structure Pragmatic Play established with Spaceman, including manual cash-outs, automatic targets and the option to collect 50% of a bet while leaving the remainder active. This partial cash-out provides some welcome flexibility, although the point at which the net breaks remains random and predetermined.

Live chat, leaderboards, detailed histories and statistics give each fishing trip a shared atmosphere without allowing other players to affect your result. Big Bass Crash ultimately offers a familiar crash-game formula wrapped in one of Pragmatic Play’s most recognisable themes. Existing fans should feel at home immediately, but they should not expect the free spins, money symbols or collection features found in the Big Bass slots.

How to Play Big Bass Crash

Big Bass Crash takes place across shared, real-time rounds. During the countdown, select your stake using the main betting field, quick-bet tiles or double button. The minimum and maximum amounts are displayed beside the game title and can vary between casinos. Press Confirm Bet before Bets Closed appears, then check that the game has accepted your wager.

Big Bass Crash transfers the familiar look of Pragmatic Play’s fishing series into a wide aquatic scene. The returning bearded fisherman steers his boat across the surface while a net hangs beneath the water, collecting fish as the multiplier increases. Swimming fish, moving water and bursts of steam from the boat provide enough animation to keep the journey active without distracting from the rising figure.

The interface contains a considerable amount of information. Betting and cash-out controls sit below the main animation, recent multipliers run along the bottom, and additional panels provide access to statistics, chat, history and the live leaderboard. It can initially look crowded, but the important controls use clear colours and remain easy to identify. Animations can also be disabled for a simpler presentation.

Light background music and short sound effects accompany the boat and changing multiplier without overwhelming the action. Compared with the more elaborate Big Bass slots, the setting has fewer visual surprises and no bonus sequences.
