CosmoX Review

CosmoX is a space-themed multiplayer crash game from OnlyPlay, released on 12th November 2024. A spacesuited pilot takes a futuristic car into space while a multiplier rises, leaving players to collect their return before the flight ends.

There are two betting panels, so you can enter the same round twice and cash out each wager separately. CosmoX has a headline RTP of 97%, a 10,000x maximum multiplier and a high volatility rating, with manual collection and automatic cash-out controls available.

How to play CosmoX

1. Choose your stake. Enter an amount in either betting panel, within your casino’s limits. Use the second panel if you want a separate wager on the same flight.

2. Set automatic collection if wanted. Switch the panel to AUTO to access Auto X, then enable it and choose a target multiplier. The demo’s minimum target is 1.35x. Collection only happens if the round reaches your target before ending.

3. Place your wager. Press BET during the betting window before the flight starts. Each panel needs its own wager.

4. Follow the flight. The multiplier rises as the space car travels. Your potential return increases while your bet remains active, but the round can end before you collect.

5. Cash out each bet. Press TAKE to settle an active wager at the available multiplier, or let Auto X act at your chosen target. Collecting one bet leaves the other active unless you settle that too.

6. Watch for the round ending. Any wager still active when the flight finishes is lost. A round can end at 1.00x, leaving no opportunity for a profitable cash-out.

Auto Bet repeats wagers on subsequent rounds, while Auto X handles collection. They do different jobs, so check both controls before starting an automatic sequence. Availability can vary by casino and market.

The live bets table shows other players’ stakes and collections, with separate views for your bets and the previous round. Emoji reactions provide a small social touch, and the multiplier history lets you inspect completed flights. None of those previous results tells you how far the next flight will go.

CosmoX - Design

CosmoX takes the fairly sensible approach of keeping its space trip easy to follow. The dark backdrop, bright multiplier and clearly separated betting controls put the important information where you need it. We like that straightforwardness. There is very little to decipher before you understand what is happening and where to collect.

The spacesuited pilot and futuristic car give it a little identity, although the theme never feels especially adventurous. Space offers almost limitless room for imagination, and CosmoX settles for a familiar flight with a rising number. It is clean and coherent, but we would have welcomed more character in the journey itself. Repeated rounds give you much the same visual experience.

The animation switch is a useful practical detail. You can turn the moving presentation off if you prefer to concentrate on the multiplier, while sound has its own control. That suits a game whose main appeal is getting straight into the action. The player list and emoji reactions also keep the screen from feeling isolated without making the controls difficult to find.

Mobile support covers portrait and landscape layouts, and OnlyPlay keeps the game under 1MB. That compact presentation makes sense for something built around short rounds and a few essential controls.

There is a clear family resemblance to GoalX and ScoreX: approachable crash gameplay with the theme doing most of the dressing.

We found ChiX more charming, but CosmoX’s restraint is hardly a disaster. For a 2024 release, this feels like a perfectly understandable take on the format. It simply has less personality than some of the games that followed.

CosmoX - Win Potential

At 97% RTP, CosmoX has a theoretical house edge of 3%. RTP describes the mathematical return across a very large volume of play, rather than what you should expect back from a particular session.

The maximum multiplier is 10,000x your stake. That is a multiplier limit, not a fixed cash prize. Stakes are operator-dependent, commonly running from 1 to 50, and any separate maximum-payment restriction in your casino’s rules can limit the amount you receive.

Your cash-out target affects how you experience the risk: aiming higher means leaving your wager exposed for longer, with more opportunity for the flight to end first. An earlier target offers a smaller potential return, but it can still fail. There is no difficulty selection to change the flight’s multiplier growth.

Auto X carries out a collection instruction; it cannot make the round reach your chosen number. Similarly, two betting panels let you use different cash-out targets but do not improve the RTP. Both bets face the same round ending, and both can lose.

Is CosmoX Provably Fair?

Yes. CosmoX includes a documented provably fair system and a completed-round verification screen. Its result generation combines a server seed with three player seeds and uses a SHA-512 hash to derive the outcome.

The fairness settings display a commitment before the round starts. After a round, selecting its result in the history opens the seed and hash information alongside the multiplier, allowing you to check how that completed result was produced.

This is player-verifiable cryptographic fairness, which is different from relying solely on an RNG certification claim. It checks completed outcomes; it does not reveal the next crash point or make a wager safe.
